hyaluronic PHA mixlab serum

An active serum to renew the skin by producing a controlled and soft exfoliation with 2% of XS hyaluronic acid and 5% of PHA. PHA have numerous skin care benefits, not causing any irritation to the skin. Because of the multiple hydroxyl groups, they are strong humectant and keep the skin glow and plumped. PHA treat the skin very gently without affecting deeper layers. The effect is very similar to that of AHAs (alpha hydroxy acids or fruit acids like glycolic or lactic acid), but as a type of polyhydroxy acid they are more beneficial. Since it is a larger molecule, they penetrate the skin slowly without burning it like the other exfoliating agents. PHA when used alone don't require the application of a , after the treatment.

The serum can be mixed in any proportion with other mixlab serums to create a personalized formulation with additional benefits. It can also be added (2 doses) to the hyaluronic mixmask.

An active serum to brighten the skin, reduce pigmentation and dark spots with 2% of XS hyaluronic acid and 1% of tranexamic acid. Traditionally, Tranexamic acid provides a powerful and specific anti-inflamatory action, inhibiting tyrosinase synthesis in melanocytes to keratinocytes in the epidermis. Also it calms the skin and helps to restore the skin barrier. Tranexamic acid decreases the skin's sensitivity to UV.

Difficulties can arise during repair which may further prolong the process. This is especially evident during pregnancy with the appearance of stretch marks. The skin is not able to restructure itself correctly & lacks firmness. Titrated Extract of Centella asiatica, better known as CICA or Tiger grass, is a high purified composition of some of the most powerful molecules found within this plant. CICA works to repair damaged skin faster and restore skin integrity by boosting the vital proteins within the dermis and by soothing effect. Our extract is produced from wild centella asiatica harvested in Madagascar. This particular botanical variety is more stable in composition of pentacyclic triterpenes (actives), has higher amount of those actives and grows wild. When cultivated, it loses its pharmacological profile & has low content of actives. In our formulation we combine CICA with Provitamin B5 (panthenol) known for its properties to hydrate and restore the skin integrity. Applied locally, panthenol penetrates the epidermis where it is absorbed by the skin cells and transformed into pantothenic acid, this is where it acts on the hydration of the stratum corneum. In addition, it helps to strengthen the hydrolipidic film, fighting against water loss and dehydration.

The formulation is one of the most skin and eco-friendly. All ingredients in the product are issued from renewable source and the product is packed in a simple and 75 ml bottle to reduce wastes. An ecological and responsible skin care that is not making compromise on results. This is as close as you can get, in terms of respect of the environment and skin friendly.

Vegan squalane is a fantastic humectant that closely matches skin’s natural squalene, providing excellent moisture and ingredient penetration. Squalene is not a stable ingredient and can be heavy and pore clogging. Squalane has hydrogen added to the molecule form which allows it to be lighter and not clog pores. Olive Squalane is a clear, odorless, natural emollient that helps to smooth the skin and retain its moisture. Olive Squalane is very light, and easily absorbed into the skin. Due to its easy absorbability, it is an excellent carrier for other ingredients like vitamins.

Vitamin F is designed for application to dry, seborrhoic skin with disturbed lipid barrier as well as for dry scalps with brittle and shineless hair. Vitamin F is a blend of essential fatty acids (Linoleic Acid, Linolenic Acid) extracted from soy bean oil. Essential fatty acids, especially linoleic acid, are extremely important for maintaining an intact lipid barrier and its physiological functions. Deficiency of linoleic acid leads to dry, scaling skin with a disturbed lipid barrier, which finds its expression in an increased TEWL. Topical application of linoleic acid leads to restoration of the lipid barrier within a few days. Vitamin F can efficiently helps to treat dry skin, hypertrophy of sebaceous glands,hyperkeratosis, weakened capillary vessels, atopic dermatitis psoriasis and even acne.

When preparing a serum with squalane based serums the proportion of squalane serums must be less than half.
